Role overview

 

The Integrated Information Technology (IIT) FP&A Team plays a key role in planning and managing IT-related financials across Carlsberg Group companies. We focus on global cost planning for licenses, applications, and IT projects, and ensure accurate cost allocation in line with Carlsberg’s standards and guidelines. Our responsibilities include budget planning, cost analysis, asset management, and Intercompany Charge calculations. By delivering high-quality controlling services and providing strategic financial insights, we support decision-making processes and contribute to greater operational efficiency throughout the organization.

 

What you’ll be doing

 

  • Delivering the agreed scope and processes of the Controlling in alignment with defined objectives
  • Conducting continuous improvement in operational performance
  • Supporting functional initiatives and projects within your area of responsibility
  • Collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure effective cooperation
  • Making and executing decisions with speed and quality
  • Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of the agreed FP&A controlling scope
  • Participating in month-end closing, reporting, and planning processes (Budget, Estimates, True-up)
  • Calculating Intercompany Charges and analyzing financial data against various baselines (Budget, Estimates)
  • Identifying root causes of variances and providing actionable insights
  • Cooperating with external auditors to support audit processes
  • Managing financial aspects of IT assets
  • Aligning yourself and your team with agreed priorities and promoting cross-team collaboration

 

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who has:

 

  • Analytical mindset with a detail-oriented approach
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels (including top management)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Controlling, or Financial Reporting
  • Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling
  • Solid understanding of cost allocation and cost center structures
  • Familiarity with monthly financial closing processes, accruals, and reporting tools (e.g., SAP, HFM)
  • Ability to turn ideas into action quickly, delivering with both speed and quality
  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, Power Query, complex formulas)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Business Administration
  • Foundational knowledge of accounting, controlling, and IFRS
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
