FP&A HQ INTERN, POZNAŃ
Role overview
The Financial Controlling team comprises 8 specialists who ensure accurate financial reporting, monitor balance sheet accounts, and support audits. We collaborate closely with local business units (mainly the Head Office in Denmark) and work with international tools like SAP and HFM to ensure the company’s financial stability.
As a member of the HQ Controlling, you will support the team in managing and optimizing daily processes and month-end closing activities related to Central Functions.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting the delivery of agreed HQ Controlling scope and processes in line with defined objectives
- Monitoring overdue receivables on an ongoing basis
- Contacting customers/local entities to clarify payment delays
- Identifying receivables for write-offs and coordinating approval with the business unit
- Post-write-offs in the accounting system (SAP)
- Issuing ad hoc Intercompany invoices
- Reviewing Intercompany agreements
- HFM reconciliations vs SAP
- Assisting in the continuous improvement of operational performance
- Participating in the month-end closing, reporting
- Supporting variance analysis and helping identify key drivers
- Preparing basic financial reports and presentations
- Supporting audit processes through data preparation and documentation
- Learning and aligning with team priorities, contributing to cross-team collaboration
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has an analytical mindset with a detail-oriented approach
- Enjoys working in an international environment
- Has proficiency in MS Office
- Speaks English communicatively
- Has a teamwork‑oriented approach
- Is available for at least 20 hours per week
- Can turn ideas into action quickly
- Has foundational knowledge of accounting
