Role overview
Are you ready to help Marketing and Sales Procurement on a global scale at Carlsberg and support our Global Category Teams with your analytical skills? We are looking for a Global Category Analyst to support the Category Teams of Marketing and Sales Procurement throughout the optimization of the Marketing and Sales Spend of the Carlsberg Group ensuring the best return on investment and the right quality for our global, regional, and local businesses worldwide.
What you’ll be doing
· Supporting Global Marketing and Sales Procurement teams as a Procurement Analyst
· Mapping categories, spend cube, and identifying areas and sub-categories for optimization
· Supporting developing category strategies, managing tenders, negotiations, contracting, and reporting
· Developing industry insights to help category managers improve their strategies
· Working with key senior global, regional, and local stakeholders and procurement teams to deliver significant efficiencies in the Marketing and Sales area
· The role is expected to help you develop into future managerial roles within Procurement
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who:
· Has 2+ years of experience in business/financial/procurement analytics and a good understanding of marketing and sales.
· Possesses good analytical skills and financial understanding
· Has advanced skills in analytic tools like Excel and the usual business software (Outlook, PowerPoint, Power BI, Forms, Word, etc)
· Has previous experience in Business Analytics/Insights/Marketing/Finance (it’s beneficial)
· Is a strategic thinker with good communication, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional influencing skills
· Has a Bachelor's or University degree (Master’s degree in Procurement or Business/Marketing/Sales would be beneficial)
· Speaks English fluently (other major world languages would be beneficial)
