IT Finance Business Partner, Poznań
Role overview
As an IT Finance Business Partner, you will work in an international, highly demanding, and complex environment. You will be an important member of the Global Finance & IT team, which has full ownership of the central IT cost and charge-out management, the related accounting, and intercompany activities.
What you’ll be doing
You will manage central IT costs. Make sure that financial results are delivered in line with the Budget, Estimate, or latest outlook. You are expected to act as a partner for central IT stakeholders to identify risks and opportunities, support the IIT Finance Director and IT Leadership Team to ensure the spend level is in line with Carlsberg's strategic priorities. In a deep cooperation with finance controllers from our Shared Service Center, you will work with the IT Leadership Team and the regional finance teams. You bring to the team an in-depth knowledge of financial analysis and planning, business partnering skills, and IFRS Accounting knowledge.
Your primary tasks and responsibilities include:
- Supporting in managing the planning cycle effectively (Budget, Estimate);
- Identifying opportunities for cost optimization within the IT budget by analysing spending patterns and recommending process improvements;
- Managing allocation model for IT cost charge out from accurate cost allocation and a compliance perspective;
- Delivering IT charges specifications to Carlsberg’s subsidiaries, including support of the IT Finance Business Partner Director in preparation of yearly reviews with local management;
- Preparing and presenting detailed monthly financial reports outlining IT spend, project costs, and any significant financial variances, offering actionable insights and recommendations;
- Demonstrating effective business partnering with IT Global Functions;
- Investigating and preparing financial analysis and aligning with stakeholders;
- Effectively engaging and working with all levels of the organization, with the ability to bring others to consensus.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Academic background in finance, accounting, business administration or economics;
- 5+ years of finance experience in an international operating company or division of a listed corporation;
- In-depth knowledge of the full accounting operation cycle and financial reporting;
- Experience within Excel & HFM (experience with PowerPoint/Think Cell and Power BI would be beneficial);
- Extensive experience planning and deploying business initiatives;
- Willingness to understand end-to-end process and take full responsibility for the delivery of tasks;
- Proactiveness and have a positive attitude with a problem-solving mindset;
- Conceptually skilled, being able to think “big and small,” and showing solid financial acumen;
- Proficient communication skills and excellent business acumen;
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, as it is the work language;
- Openness to international travel.
