Role overview


As a Junior FP&A Analyst, you’ll play a key role in strengthening financial decision‑making for our Western Europe Supply Chain organization. You’ll work closely with Finance and Supply Chain experts across multiple markets - turning numbers into insights and insights into business actions.

This is a chance to work in a dynamic, fast‑evolving environment where your analytical thinking, communication skills, and problem‑solving mindset truly matter.

  

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Cooperating closely with Finance and Supply Chain teams in Carlsberg breweries across Western Europe and multiple teams within Carlsberg Shared Services
  • Calculating product prices for internal flows between Carlsberg Group entities
  • Participating in month-end closing activities - review, reconciliation, and reporting of financial records for the previous month
  • Analysing variances (quantities, costs) and searching for their root causes
  • Participating in budgeting and forecasting via collecting inputs, facilitating cost planning, and data reporting
  • Analysing data included in the SAP Material Master and SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling modules
  • Reporting data via Microsoft Fabric and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
  • Working regularly with Excel and Power BI
  • Taking part in project groups in areas relevant for the team

 

What we’re looking for

  • 1+ years of experience in Controlling, FP&A or a similar analytical finance role
  • Understanding of controlling processes and financial planning
  • Solid analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working with SAP or another ERP system (would be beneficial)
  • Good Excel skills; Power BI knowledge would be beneficial
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at different levels
  • A problem-solving approach - you enjoy solving problems and improving ways of working
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
