JUNIOR FINANCIAL CONTROLLER (PL TEAM), POZNAN

Role Overview:

We are currently looking for a qualified Junior Financial Controller to support our financial operations within the reporting & compliance area with expertise and skills.

The Financial Accounting and Controlling Team is committed to securing the accuracy, completeness & transparency of financial statements reported for Supply Chain and Commercial entities from Western Europe within established timelines. We are cooperating with various stakeholders taking into account finance & business processes impacting financial data, often deploying an end-to-end perspective.

What you’ll be doing

• Working together with local users and business partners on correct accounting treatment and SAP transaction usage;
• Supporting in assuring correct transactional data in SAP (check data, identify problems, conduct process improvement to overcome root causes);
• Taking an active role in the financial month-end closing process including calculation of accruals, fixed assets activities, preparing group and local reporting of financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations;
• Cooperating with internal & external audit;
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, new technology rollouts, and process design activities;
• Participating in the financial planning process;
• Contributing to the team’s collective knowledge through preparing and updating process documentation.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a person who:

• has good financial knowledge, with experience in shared services/business process outsourcing and an educational background in finance;
• has 2+ years of operational experience in Finance and/or Accounting;
• has worked in, and enjoys working in a diverse, international environment;
• has a good understanding and knowledge of financial processes;
• has good communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude;
• is proficient in written and spoken English and Polish;
• navigates easily in Office365 environment and has a good practical understanding of MS Excel;
• has previously worked with SAP, Blackline, and HFM (will be an asset)
