Junior Vendor Management Specialist
JUNIOR VENDOR MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, POZNAŃ
Role overview
We are currently looking for a Junior Specialist to support our Vendor Management Team within the Purchase to Pay department. This role involves data entry, validation, analysis, and coordination with various departments to ensure that vendor information is up-to-date and compliant with company standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail, solid data management abilities, and a thorough understanding of vendor data processes.
What you’ll be doing
- creating, updating, and maintaining vendor master data records in SKP (a workflow-based platform for vendor creation and maintenance);
- ensuring the accuracy and completeness of vendor information, including contact details, banking information, tax identification numbers, and other relevant data;
- performing regular audits and data cleansing activities to eliminate duplicates;
- solving process-related queries;
- handling non-standard payment terms requests, supporting users in obtaining Payment Terms Committee approval;
- coordinating with procurement, finance, and other relevant departments to address and resolve vendor data issues;
- developing training materials and conducting end-user training;
- participating in the testing and implementation of new features related to vendor data management.
We are looking for a person who:
- has a minimum of 1 year of professional experience (in an SSC/BPO environment or within Procurement and Finance processes/ delivery team in the relevant area);
- is communicative in English (both written and spoken);
- navigates easily in MS Office package;
- has great organizational skills, motivation and accuracy;
- has experience working with SAP; knowledge of SKP will be considered an asset;
- presents solid interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills;
- performs daily tasks and other activities according to Standard Operating Procedures, including reviewing and updating them if necessary;
- demonstrates solid analytical skills.
