Role overview 

 

The Risk and Compliance Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the Legal & Compliance team by providing insights, analytics, and reporting on various governance, risk, and compliance initiatives. The individual will also act as a superuser for GRC tools, assisting global users with operational support. This position requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders across functions and regions, including Legal, Risk Management, Controls, Assurance and IIT, to ensure efficient use of GRC tools and the execution of compliance processes such as ERM assessments and mitigation oversight, sanction screening, gifts & entertainment (G&E) automation, and conflict of interest (COI) reporting.   

 

What you’ll be doing   

  • Acting as the superuser for the GRC (Risk & Policy) and other Compliance tools, including sanction screening systems, policy compliance tools, G&E automation platforms, and COI reporting systems
  • Providing operational support, troubleshoot issues, and managing access rights for global users
  • Developing and generating reports on Legal Compliance and GRC activities, including risk assessments, compliance monitoring, and policy adherence across the organization
  • Analyzing data trends to provide insights into key compliance risks, control effectiveness, and overall policy compliance
  • Supporting Legal Compliance in preparing presentations and dashboards for senior leadership, Excom, Audit Committee, and Supervisory board
  • Assisting in the implementation and monitoring of risk management frameworks and compliance processes across the business
  • Supporting the coordination and execution of periodic risk assessments, compliance checks, and Legal compliance control testing
  • Monitoring regulatory changes and ensuring that relevant updates are reflected in the organization’s GRC tools and processes
  • Identifying and recommending enhancements to GRC tools and processes to improve efficiency, user experience, and data quality
  • Supporting the implementation of automation initiatives within compliance processes such as G&E approvals, conflict of interest disclosures, and sanction screening
  • Collaborating with internal teams such as Legal Compliance & Risk, Controls, GIA, IIT, and regional / market Legal and Compliance stakeholders to ensure alignment of GRC processes
  • Providing training and guidance to end-users on GRC tools, ensuring they are equipped to carry out compliance-related activities efficiently
  • Acting as the liaison between Global Compliance and third-party vendors (BvD / Moodies) supporting GRC platforms and tools
  • Maintaining up-to-date documentation of GRC processes, workflows
  • Supporting the review and maintenance of global policies and manuals, procedures in alignment with regulatory and internal requirements

 

What we’re looking for 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, Compliance, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in governance, risk management, compliance, or a related function, preferably in a multinational environment
  • Experience in administering and supporting GRC tools such as risk assessment, sanction screening tools, policy automation platforms, or conflict of interest systems
  • Strong data analytics and reporting skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar reporting tools
  • Understanding of risk management frameworks and compliance monitoring processes
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to train users and work with cross-functional teams
  • Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
