Role overview

Are you passionate about converting data into actionable insights and powering category management through analytics? Join Western Europe Packaging Materials team as a Senior Category Analyst and play a key role in shaping category management for one of the most exciting areas of Procurement. You’ll work on projects that optimize material cost, minimize risk, and drive process improvements across packaging materials categories.

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Shape and drive analytics agenda for WE Packaging Materials team
  • Support RFx processes and negotiations in baselining, e-sourcing, scenario analysis, and other data analytics steps
  • Develop and maintain cost forecasting models and support budget / estimate processes
  • Present commodity market insights and general market insights in monthly PMS meetings
  • Deliver spend analyses and support development of category strategies
  • Develop and maintain pricing databases, dashboards, and analytical models using Power BI, Excel
  • Act as a subject-matter expert in Keelvar and PowerBI and guide stakeholders on data-driven decisions

 

 

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Economics, Data Science, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or analytical roles, preferably in Direct Materials
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, SAP, and Power BI; SQL/VBA experience is a plus.
  • Preferable to have knowledge of Keelvar/similar e-sourcing tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to manage large datasets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in international and virtual teams
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
