Role overview

 

The Senior FP&A Analyst is a key finance partner for Procurement in ISC Western Europe, working at the intersection of finance and business. The role combines core FP&A responsibilities: month-end closing, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, with real influence on procurement decisions.

The team supports a broad scope, including Packaging and Raw Materials used in production, globally purchased POS materials, and the 3PP portfolio. From planning through performance analysis and variance explanation, the Senior FP&A Analyst has E2E visibility and impact, while also shaping tools and ways of working to make processes simpler, clearer, and more effective.

 

 

What you will be doing:

 

  • Cooperating and supporting the Group Procurement Team located in Switzerland
  • Delivering MEC activities – advanced PPV variance review, including identifying variance root causes, data analysis, and comparison vs various baselines like budget, estimates, or R&O, and reporting on time in the right quality and in compliance with Carlsberg standards.
  • Supporting one of the Category Groups (Raw or Pack Materials) and taking full ownership of MEC, reporting, and planning processes.
  • Playing a critical role in budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Supporting ongoing changes and improvements in data processing jointly with end users and key stakeholders to ensure relevance to business requirements in an easy-to-use/easy-to-understand manner
  • Coordinating activities to identify and execute saving initiatives
  • Supporting Finance and Procurement Teams & key stakeholders with ad hoc analysis as part of projects or operations

 

What we’re looking for

 

  • at least 4-6 years of professional experience in Controlling;
  • solid knowledge of financial controlling E2E processes and data analysis;
  • good communication skills, ability to collaborate with stakeholders across the organization;
  • very good command of written and spoken English;
  • advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint (Power BI would be beneficial)
  • experience in working with SAP or other ERP systems;
  • solid analytical skills,
