Role overview                          

The Senior FP&A Analyst plays a key role in supporting Procurement FP&A processes. They collaborate with Procurement Category Managers and colleagues from other CSS teams to ensure efficient execution of processes such as MEC, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. The role involves developing standardized tools and processes that address business needs and providing best practices and solutions across supported areas.

 

What you’ll be doing

 

  • Working closely with Procurement partners to understand the market drivers and apply them in MEC and planning comments.
  • Delivering MEC activities – advanced PPV variance review, including identifying variance root causes, data analysis, and comparison vs various baselines like budget, estimates, or R&O, and reporting on time in the right quality and in compliance with Carlsberg standards.
  • Supporting one of the Category Groups (Raw or Pack Materials) and taking full ownership for MEC, reporting, and planning processes.
  • Engaging in effective communication with internal stakeholders, building relationships through regular updates and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Aligning self and team towards agreed priorities, promoting cross-team collaboration.

 

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Holds a BA or Master’s degree
  • Has good analytical skills
  • Has experience in financial and performance management-driven businesses
  • Has a good understanding of functional areas of the business.
  • Has general knowledge of IFRS and accounting.
  • Has experience in driving E2E process efficiencies and improvements.
  • Knows: SAP, PBI, HFM, and/or other data and analytics platforms.
  • Has advanced Excel skills, including experience in building complex data models for analysis purposes
  • Is proficient in functional sub-areas with the ability to lead cross-functional projects.
  • Has a good understanding of how to document and share knowledge.
