Role overview

 

As a Tax Team Leader in Tax Operations you will play an essential role in shaping the success of the WE tax function in Carlsberg. The primary responsibilities include supporting a culture of growth and development within the team, ensuring the stability and efficiency of tax-related processes, and closely aligning these processes with the overarching Group Tax Strategy. 

 

What you’ll be doing

 

  • Lead and manage the Tax team (overseeing approximately 10 employees), providing effective leadership, guidance, and support.
  • Develop a high-performing and collaborative environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.
  • Build collaborative relationships with the RtR & CtC Leadership Team and key internal and external stakeholders (e.g. Genpact), ensuring timely and professional resolution of issues.
  • Identify and implement improvements to streamline tax-related processes, reducing manual effort and potential errors.
  • Ensure all tax filings, including VAT, excise duties, and withholding tax, are submitted accurately and within specified deadlines.
  • Ensure that all tax-related activities comply with tax laws and regulations, keeping updated on legislative changes and making necessary adjustments.
  • Implement quality control measures to minimize errors in tax calculations, reports, and filings, and conduct periodic audits for accuracy.

 

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who has:

 

  • Leadership experience and proven track record
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, supporting collaboration, and building meaningful relationships
  • Master’s degree in Finance or Business Administration
  • General knowledge of accounting and tax
