Role overview
We are currently looking for an intern to support our Vendor Management Team within the Purchase to Pay department. This role involves data entry, validation, analysis, and coordination with various departments to ensure that vendor information is up-to-date and compliant with company standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess attention to detail, proficient data management skills, and a comprehensive understanding of vendor data processes.
What you’ll be doing
- Creating, updating, and maintaining vendor master data records in SKP (a platform, which is a workflow-based tool for posting vendors);
- Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of vendor information, including contact details, banking information, tax identification numbers, and other relevant data;
- Performing regular audits and data cleansing activities to eliminate duplicates;
- Solving process-related queries;
- Coordinating with procurement, finance, and other relevant departments to address and resolve vendor data issues;
- Participating in the testing and implementation of new features related to vendor data management;
We are looking for a person who:
- Is communicative in English (both written and spoken)
- Has solid organizational skills, motivation, and accuracy
- Navigates easily in MS Office, especially Excel
- Has a teamwork approach
- Quickly moves ideas to actions, completes plans and projects with quality and speed
- Available for at least 30 hrs per week
