Carlsberg Korea Limited its head office in Parnas tower, Seoul and we are responsible for selling and marketing a portfolio of International Beers and Cider, including Somersby Cider (#1 Cider in Korea), 1664 Blanc (#1 Wheat Beer in Korea) by distribution partnership, Carlsberg Danish Pilsner by Carlsberg Korea Limited. We have big growth ambitions and are expanding into new segments Including Alcohol Free Beer.
Role overview
At Carlsberg Korea limited, we are proud of the products and services we provide. We’re looking for a highly skilled Brand Manager to help us promote our offerings, and identify what consumers want so we can create more in the region of Oceania & Asia (Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia etc.). Our ideal candidate will have extensive marketing experience and comprehensive knowledge of branding and a solid commercial understanding. What you’ll be doing
Specifically, your key responsibilities are:
- Lead the development of our brand plans with a 360-mindset working closely with clients, sales colleagues, management, creative and content teams, and distribution partners, to create an effective and efficient marketing strategy focused on growing audiences for our key brands within the company portfolio
- Develop short- and long-term GBC growth (volume, mix, efficiencies)
- Spearhead the strategic and tactical execution of marketing campaigns, including design of test/control segmentation, implementation of tests, tracking, results reporting, analysis, and recommendations
- Maintain and further develop a clear portfolio strategy, positioning, and growth platforms across a number of brands within the beer, cider and RTD categories
- Manage conception, development, and implementation of marketing plans and strategies, product concepts, and promotional programs to drive interest and sales
- Hold regular meetings with Brand and Project Managers to review the pipeline, resolve challenges, and present possible solutions, and provide ongoing training to ensure the team consistently performs above standard
- Attend and/or participate in conventions, conferences, and tradeshows, preparing engaging displays and collateral as needed, and providing post-event reports and analysis
- Ensure that Brands Marketing funds are invested most efficiently, maximizing the volume growth impact, the brand ROI, our market shares, and the company EBIT
- Direct report to our Head of Marketing based in Copenhagen and functional report to Oceania Regional Manager in Australia.
What we’re looking for
- Master's or Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications
- Successful track record in senior marketing roles and creating marketing campaigns in the FMCG, Beverage, liquor industry
- +5 years of marketing experiences
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Experience with digital marketing, social media marketing, and event (experiential) marketing
- Proven ability to plan and manage budgets
- Fluent English Communication Skill
