We are looking for a motivated Apprentice, Supply Chain Controlling to support the Finance team in delivering financial analysis and insights for supply chain operations. In this role, you will gain hands-on exposure to product costing, financial reporting, and fixed asset management while supporting monthly closing activities, budgeting processes, and audit-related matters. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze cost drivers, support cost optimization initiatives, and contribute to projects related to sales volume and cost performance. What you’ll be doing


•    Analyze product costing and identify reasons for cost increases or reductions. 
•    Support monthly financial analysis and reporting related to COGS (Cost of Goods Sold), FOH (Factory Overhead), and logistics costs. 
•    Assist with monthly closing activities, including journal voucher preparation, CFFR documentation, and CAPEX closing tasks.
•    Support CAPEX management, ensuring supporting documents are properly maintained and company assets are accurately recorded in the Fixed Asset Register. 
•    Participate in quarterly and annual budgeting cycles and support key audit activities. 
•    Assist with the online application of tax incentives for export customers.
•    Contribute to ad-hoc financial analysis and projects, including sales volume and cost analysis.

•    A detail-oriented person who ensures accuracy in financial analysis, reports, and documentation.
•    A proactive learner who demonstrates initiative and a willingness to support various finance and supply chain activities.
•    A problem-solver with the ability to investigate variances and contribute to continuous improvement.
•    A candidate with strong Excel skills, including the use of formulas, data analysis, and reporting tools.
•    A basic understanding of financial and cost accounting, including concepts such as COGS and overhead costs.
•    An interest in financial reporting and data analysis to support business decision-making.
•    Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP will be an added advantage.

Requirements:

 

•    Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 (Second Class Upper or equivalent).
•    Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
•    Able to commit to a 6-month apprenticeship.
•    Demonstrated leadership experience through extra-curricular activities.
•    Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
•    Innovative and systematic thinker with strong analytical abilities.
•    Self-driven with high work capacity, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
•    Proactive, action-oriented, and resilient, with the ability to take initiative.
•    A genuine passion for the beer industry.
