Internship Trainee, Tax (Finance)
Role overview
Supports tax compliance by assisting in withholding tax calculations, expense reconciliation and financial data analysis for various tax returns. Prepare reports such as sales tax exemption documentation and performing other related administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in calculating withholding tax and reconciling expenses.
- Extracts general ledger data and perform expense analysis for tax computation and returns.
- Assists in analyzing financial data for the preparation of the services tax return.
- Assists to compile and prepare the sales tax exemption report for the tax authority.
- Performs any other assigned tasks.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma/Degree in Business Management, Finance, Banking, Accounting, any other similar qualification
- Minimum CGPA 3.0 or Second Class Upper or equivalent.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Able to commit for 3 - 6 months.
- Proven leadership skills in extra-curricular activities.
- Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Innovative and systematic with sound analytical skills.
- High work capacity, self-driven and a team-player.
- Proactive, action-oriented, persistent and resilient.
- Passion in the beer industry.
- A creative and systematic thinker with strong analytical abilities.
