Senior Maintenance Technician

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven technical professional to join us as a Senior Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining packaging equipment to ensure products are packed efficiently and meet quality standards. You will set-up machines, perform routine inspections, service window, troubleshoot issues, and make adjustments as needed to maintain smooth production.

What you’ll be doing

• Effectively and accurately troubleshoot and make routine adjustments and repairs to operating machinery in order to maintain production and maintenance schedules.
• Guide and coach technician on shift to support their development and act as the first point of contact for Technical Line Lead.
• Perform routine preventative and predictive maintenance as assigned, including cleaning and lubricating in order to maintain machine basic condition and to prevent breakdowns.
• Driving technical troubleshooting and creating Standard Maintenance Procedure (SMP)/training instructions.
• Participating in all Breakdowns Analysis (BDA) and Focused Improvement. Analysing breakdowns and common component failure.
• Learn, Coach and support operators’ Clean, Inspect, Lubricate (CIL) in order positively influence performance.
• Assist in the planning process by identifying parts and work required using SAP to enter notifications.
• Perform relevant Performance Management System (PMS) inputs meeting for line(s)/area to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI)/Compelling Business Need (CBN)  target.
• Perform routine changeover packaging equipment when assigned.
• Ensure high 5S and maintenance compliance strictly follow.
• Ensures the production and packaging of safe, high quality food product by adhering to quality standards, procedures and Carlsberg Operating Manual (COM) compliance, report when found any abnormalities.
• Monitoring production processes, maintaining equipment and ensuring compliance with quality control and food safety regulation.  
• Follow food safety compliance e.g Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) principles to prevent contamination and ensure food safety in product.
• Undertake any additional duties or responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.

• A safety-conscious and resilient technician with a deep understanding of packaging protocols and regulations, possessing the physical capability to perform demanding tasks—from handling heavy equipment to climbing silos, tanks, or vessels using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• A logical and analytical problem solver who excels at troubleshooting complex equipment issues and uses strong diagnostic skills to maintain uninterrupted production.
• A proactive and independent communicator who builds strong relationships with production teams, effectively coordinating efforts to hit collective targets while remaining a dependable team player.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Mechatronic/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering field and with strong electrical background.
• Proven experience as a Packaging Technician or in a similar role, with 3–5 years of relevant experience within a production environment.
• Knowledge of packaging equipment operation and maintenance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred and with ability to rapidly learn and adapt to SAP systems.
• Willing to work on 12 hours shift.
