The Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) in Switzerland integrates a number of central functions in the Carlsberg Group: H&S, Quality, Procurement, Production, Logistics and Planning. Group H&S is developing, communicating and driving an effective coordinated H&S Strategy for ISC and commercial teams. Group ISC manages the brewery network, handles the global procurement processes, sets the global standards for quality, brewing technology, ensures end-to-end planning and aims to deliver world-class logistics and customer service.

The Senior Manager Group Procurement PMO is a member of Procurement insight and & Excellence.  

 

This role functions as the Project Management Officer (PMO), overseeing organization design, value capture, integration, and other strategic initiatives. Additionally, it serves as the procurement lead for key cross-functional initiatives.

 

The role will ensure that high-impact programs:

  • Stay focused and aligned with strategic priorities
  • Maintain visibility across the organization
  • Are accelerated to achieve both short-term milestones and long-term business outcomes

 

The PMO Senior Manager will play a significant role to enhance cross functional collaboration within procurement (Group/Regional/markets) and beyond procurement( quality, planning, Carlsberg Excellence, Innovation, Commercial, Marketing, and etc.  

 

The position will be based in 8866 Ziegelbrücke (greater area Zurich), Switzerland. The required skills & competencies to succeed in this role are:

Professional skills:

 

  • Proven cross-functional project management expertise, including design and deployment of complex governance model structures.
  • International experience preferred, particularly in Procurement, Finance, or Supply Chain
  • Proven capability of leading & implementing broad-based transformational change as well as being able to effectively communicate & influence senior leaders in multi-national companies.
  • Understanding of the beverage industry & its supply chain dynamics is a plus

Education:

 

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's or University degree is required. 
  • Advanced scientific degree (MS) or MBA is preferred

 

Experience:

 

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in cross-functional project management
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in a multinational and matrix organization
  • Experience from strategic management consultancy e.g. Kearney, BCG, McKinsey, or Bain, will be considered as an advantage.

 

Language:

 

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Other languages will be considered an advantage.

 

Job responsibilities:

 

  • Lead to create strategy, framework and roadmap for functional partnering workstream
  • Take responsibility for specific Group Procurement projects.
  • Ensures that projects align with company priorities and deliver value.
  • Effectively tracks project progress, identify route cause and take actions to close the gap in case of deviation.
  • Establish and maintain close relationships with key stakeholders in the ISC Leadership Team, Finance, Group Internal Audit and other functions related to project tasks.
  • Act as a key liaison for initiatives from ISC Leadership Team and Procurement Leadership Team.
  • Contribute to increasing and developing the capabilities of Procurement employees.
  • Provide expertise on optimizing procurement process.
  • Contribute to updating, adjusting, and further developing policies and manuals
