Role Overview

Are you ready to shape the future as Quality Senior Manager ISC WE at Carlsberg? We are seeking a Senior Manager Quality WE to support the development of regional quality strategies and implement plans that meets the Group expectations and is consistent with Group policies, strategy, and standards. This role gives the opportunity to act as an advisor to all Quality leads in the countries and coach them to put in place our Excellence journey.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Implement Regional Quality strategy based on the Group quality strategy.
  • Support implementation of the quality & food safety management systems framework for region: building supplier and material quality system, ensuring all Carlsberg sites are meeting Carlsberg standards, Support the building of local teams’ capabilities and competencies
  • Support breweries in achieving continuous sustainable sensory improvement by translating sensory comments into possible corrective actions at breweries
  • Facilitate workshops, activities and trainings to drive performance improvements and building capabilities.
  • Participate in validation of Quality COM self-assessment to ensure process compliance with COM requirements and support breweries through on-site trainings and audits.
  • Identify potential systemic and significant quality, compliance and performance issues within operations and suppliers.
  • Drive the implementation of a series of production quality initiatives which will deliver a sustainable improvement in product/material quality as well as B&P and F&P efficiency.
  • Collect, consolidate and sharing Best Practices across Region and with other Regions.
  • Build and sustain a quality culture where quality is clearly understood and recognized as a driver to improve both the customer experience and business performance.
  • Through close collaboration with Group Development and working Groups, maintain awareness of competitive developments and key quality trends in the business as well as related industries and external quality institutions, to ensure that quality innovations are identified, evaluated, and implemented.
  • Support tracking and reporting of key Quality KPIs including Sensory Quality, Right First Time (RFT), Site Audit Scores etc. in accordance with Group priorities.
  • Maintain a consistent program of coaching visits and improvement plans for production sites to ensure adherence to Carlsberg Group standards.

 

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum +8 years quality or production experience, preferably in FMCG or Food industry, in local, regional or global roles. Ideal Candidate will have experience within soft drink quality
  • Strong Quality and process knowledge and experience, ideally with soft drink quality as a previous area of responsibility
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Strong influencing and coaching skills
  • Proven ability to lead key initiatives and change management
  • Works collaboratively with peers, team members and breweries
  • Provide clear direction and effectively onboard breweries in regional priorities
  • Clear and consistent communication
  • Sound knowledge and experience of end-to-end supply chain
  • Able to work effectively across multiple cultures and countries through a matrix  
    organisation.

Education:

  • Engineering, Life Science, Other Technical Programs or Equivalent

 

Languages:

  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
