As Process Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Continuous improvements to reach efficiency and quality in all processes throughout the entire production workflow,
- Support operators in the process of developing and updating training materials as well as follow up and communicate ongoing initiatives/improvement projects (documentation/ visualization) for the relevant stakeholders,
- Area maintenance cost & performance,
- Coordination of maintenance activities performed during service windows and overhauls,
- Driving technical troubleshooting & creating standards /training instructions,
- Supervising external contractors and responsible for contractor management on their line(s)/area,
- Lead and conduct trials and industrial tests for the new types of packaging materials, raw materials, and finished goods,
- Drive projects to increase the benefits for our customers and consumers and together with operators and specialists work to standardize all appropriate tasks based on "best practice".
The Packaging Department is responsible for the operation of our final product packaging and process development. Our Process engineer is working in a regional network with colleagues in other neighboring countries. The process engineer reports to the Line Leader L52/53 and are included in the department's management team. The position is located in Falkenberg.
What we wish from you
- Engineer with a background in mechanical, chemical, electrical, or food technologies, and a strong interest in improvement
- Experience in a relevant position within a production environment
- Background in continuous improvement and Lean/TPM for a few years
- Analytical, practical, and capable of seeing the bigger picture while being hands-on
- Strong networking skills and an operational "doer" mentality
- Results-oriented, quality-conscious, with a high work capacity and initiative
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to connect with diverse individuals
- Proficiency in Swedish, English, Office package, and knowledge of SAP is a merit
