We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Brand Manager to join our marketing team at Carlsberg Sverige. 

 

As Brand Manager for 1664, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of strategic brand plans that strengthen brand health, enhance performance, fuel sustainable growth and maximize the impact of the 1664 brand in the Swedish market.

 

A key part of your role will be close collaboration with the global brand owner of 1664. You will act as a brand ambassador, translating global strategies into impactful local initiatives that resonate with consumers and deliver on business goals. This includes both long-term strategy and short-term activations.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies that drive growth and strengthen brand equity.
  • Take full ownership of brand P&L and budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and investment.
  • Monitor business performance, track key KPIs, and take timely action to meet targets.
  • Lead active portfolio management, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on execution.
  • Own and develop the media, communication, and activation strategy and plans.
  • Drive the innovation agenda by building and aligning a long- and short-term pipeline based on consumer and category insights.
  • Adapt and optimize brand strategies based on performance metrics and market dynamics.
  • Ensure strategic and tactical alignment with the global brand team to support consistent and effective brand development.

 

This position is based at Carlsberg Sweden’s head office in Solna, where you will be part of the Marketing team and report to the Marketing Director Beer.

You take ownership of your work through strong self-leadership, managing your time and priorities effectively. Your structured and organized way of working is supported by solid project management experience. On top of that, you’re a confident communicator with excellent presentation and influencing skills.

 

Your Background Includes:

  • A degree in marketing and/or business management, along with 46 years of relevant experience in brand building and marketing, preferably within FMCG.
  • A solid foundation in brand strategy, communication development, and creating strong consumer relevance.
  • A proven ability to manage marketing budgets and deliver results in line with business P&L targets.
  • A collaborative mindset with experience partnering with creative and media agencies, as well as other external stakeholders.
  • Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments with ease.
