Do you have experience in building strong brands and drive a strong commercial agenda? We are now looking for an Commercial Manager to Carlsberg Sverige where you will have the overall responsibility for the commercial business for popular brands in the Mixer & Carbonated Soft Drink (CSD) category.

This is a temporary position covering parental leave, for the period February 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026 

 

About the role

As a Commercial Manager at Carlsberg Sverige, you will have the overall responsibility for the brand Schweppes and the commercial business in Sweden. You will be responsible for brand plans and work in alignment with external brand owners in a partnership set-up. You will develop strategies to maximize the brand plan, monitor brand performance, uphold, and assume responsibility over budget and investments, and adapt tactical initiatives and brand activations accordingly.  Stakeholder management is a key to results and you as the Commercial Manager is accountable for its success.

 

Responsibilities

  • Project management and project lead in a partnership set-up 
  • Managing significant projects and processes together with 3rd parties (3PPs) 
  • Partner successfully with stakeholder externally and across functions and acts as an ambassador through strong action, accountability, and alignment.
  • First point of contact to 3rd Party Partners (3PP).
  • Ownership of 3PP contract negotiation and compliance in close dialogue with senior management team, when needed.
  • Develop, execute, and deliver on the 3Y brand plan and Partner Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
  • Responsible for brand P&L and budget. Analyze business performance, follow up and evaluate objectives. Take necessary actions in an effective and timely manner.
  • Active portfolio management with a complex portfolio, consisting of multiple brands and products
  • Acting local expert of brand fundamentals (brand positioning, look & feel and brand doing)
  • Develop and take local ownership for media/communication/activation strategy, plan, development and execution.
  • Local ownership of long- and short-term innovation pipeline and alignment-based category/consumer insights. 
  • Prioritize and effectively execute on needed administrative work behind the brand marketing processes in a timely manner. 
     

This role is located at Carlsberg Sverige’s HQ in Solna. You will become part of the Marketing Department and report directly to the  Marketing Manager, Water & Soft Drinks.

Job requirements

  • You have an academic degree in Marketing Management/Business Administration.
  • Minimum 5 years experience within marketing or another commercially relevant role (e.g., Trade marketing, Key Account Manager) 
  • Marketing experience within Fast-Moving Consumer Goods / Consumer Packaging industry is an advantage, but not a requirement. 
  • You have a proven track-record in significantly growing a complex product/brand portfolio.
  • You have experience from working in a complex and multi-layered stakeholder set-up. 
  • You should have intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills and qualified experience in system usage and data analytics platforms (NielsenIQ)

 
You have a personal drive and integrity with a team focus. You are confident in building relations and networking combined with strong influencing, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. Since you have both local and global contacts, you are fluent in Swedish or another Scandinavian language and English (written and verbal). Furthermore, you are strategic thinking with a growth business mindset and the ability to organize and drive projects.
