Local Procurement Business Partner
Carlsberg is seeking a dynamic and experienced Local Procurement Business Partner to represent regional procurement for indirect spend at the local level. In this role, you will be the key contact for procurement-related matters within the local business, collaborating closely with the management team, stakeholders, and global/regional procurement teams to ensure the strategic delivery of procurement value that maximizes local impact on the P&L.
You will be responsible for sourcing, tendering, negotiating the best terms and conditions, and driving efficient contract implementation locally. The position also requires active involvement in budgeting processes, ensuring that procurement value is reflected in the local P&L through robust spend transparency, effective tenders, and successful contract negotiations. You will play a crucial role in the efficient execution of procurement procedures, compliance with policies, and ensuring alignment between local business needs and the broader procurement strategy.
Skills and Competencies:
To manage this role successfully, we see that you would bring negotiation skills and direct experience in contract planning, execution, and supplier relationship management. You should be highly adaptable and results-focused, with excellent problem-solving abilities and a structured approach to planning and execution. We also expect that you have experience in project management within cross-functional and cross-cultural settings.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
- Knowledge of Source-to-Pay processes and experience in RFx execution
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), with knowledge of SAP/Ariba or similar procurement systems
Educational & Experience Requirements:
- Experience:
- 5-10 years of relevant commercial experience in tactical and operational procurement
- Experience in a global matrix-based organization and international work experience in a related industry is highly desirable
- Education:
- A higher theoretical and commercial background, equivalent to a Master’s degree
