Social Media & Content Manager

About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for the operational management of our social media channels across several brands within Carlsberg Sweden’s portfolio. Working closely with the Head of Media and Brand Managers, you will create and execute content strategies that enhance brand visibility, engagement, and relevance in the ever-evolving social landscape.
You will be the go-to expert for social media — from content planning and creation, to data analysis and community engagement. You’ll ensure our brands stay culturally relevant, trend-aware, and authentic to consumers.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the content calendar and drive proactive publishing across platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat, etc.)
- Plan and create engaging content (copy, image, and video) in line with brand strategy and tone of voice
- Use social media management tools and analytics platforms (Meta Business Manager, Google Analytics, etc.) to analyze performance and continuously optimize
- Track platform trends, features, and audience behavior to improve reach and relevance
- Lead community management by listening, responding, and actively engaging with followers
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to align messaging and campaign execution
- Utilize AI tools and editing software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.) to produce impactful, on-brand content
Who You Are
- You have a relevant academic background and 2–4 years of hands-on experience in social media marketing
- Fluent in Swedish and English, with excellent writing and communication skills
- Strategic and data-driven, yet highly creative — you know how to capture attention and build engagement
- Strong understanding of social platforms, algorithms, and best practices
- Skilled in content creation, including basic photo/video editing
- Passionate about new technology and tools — you're always testing and learning the next big thing
- Open, collaborative, unpretentious — you believe great work happens when we challenge each other respectfully
